This is the perfect place for a large group in the Asheville-Mars Hill area. It had everything we could’ve wanted, fully stocked kitchen, grill, insane Mountain View’s, amazing local hiking, gated community, I could seriously go on and on. Also, the host was constantly communicating and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. 10/10 super host and super place. Thanks Elliot and Kyle!

We had a great stay here with 2 big families! The view and house were beautiful, and we really enjoyed it.

Absolutely wonderful family vacation! Views were breathtaking morning, noon and night! The home was very well kept, incredibly clean, lots of entertainment, great for families with young children. The hosts were terrific communicators and the welcome information was clear and concise. We would definitely recommend grabbing groceries on your way to the mountain house as the nearest grocery store is down the mountains about 25 minutes away. The men played golf at the country club and said it was a stunning course with holes scaling the beautiful mountain side. The mountain is high enough that there is at times a 20-30 degree difference in temperature from Asheville to the mountain house so be sure to pack layers for your stay. We definitely hope to return to this home in the future for another amazing family vacation!

The stay is very nice and the detailing to amenities was good. We need not bring anything if we are staying here.
My only complaint is the wifi . Its not strong enough

Our group had an amazing time staying here! Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and accessible bathrooms as well. We mostly enjoyed the outside porch with the hot tub and porch swing area. Beds and couches were super comfortable for relaxing and lots of counter space for large groups. Great distance to downtown with a few nice shops close by!

This place was awesome and got amazing views.

The Overlook Lodge was a wow house! If you are vacationing with a bunch of family/friends this is the place to book. Three floors of well thought out comfort for a party of 14. There’s room to spread out with entertainment on each level. The theatre room was fab and if you don’t like what’s on the big screen there’s two other TVs. Three deck levels are great for breathing in that pristine Blue Ridge Mountain air. There’s two hanging chairs and a hot tub on one of the decks … plus lots of other seating and an outdoor fireplace … inside - a pool table …. retro video game … puzzles … games … the host certainly put a great deal of thought into their property and communication back and forth was fast and responsive. The twisty drive up the mountain and the short distance back and forth to Asheville were small trade offs for the comforts of this home. Go ahead … pull the trigger - you’ll be glad you did.

The house and surrounding areas were lovely! We comfortably fit 15 people and between the fire pit, hot tub, game room, and TV there was always something for everyone to do! Micheal and Jill responded very quickly and had provided lots of recommendations. Gatlinburg is a fantastic area and I would recommend checking this place out!

Elliot and Kylie’s place was amazing! Beautiful views and very clean home. They do a great job of communication and detailed instructions on anything you need before you even get there. The only thing I feel should be harped on a little more was the driveway and getting up and down. We had a couple 2WD and couple 4WD. They recommended only the 4WD vehicles go down the path and did let us know that it was steep, which it is. Even with the 4WD vehicles, the gravel on the driveway made the tires slip slightly but nothing dramatic we still made it out. Just plan ahead and be prepared that it is a steep gravel driveway. Some 2WD vehicles will be able to make it up depending on if you know how to drive in a condition like that. Other than that the place was amazing and super cozy no complaints about at all about the living! Would recommend for future travelers.

Black Bear BNB was perfect for our stay. The cabin is beautiful and the location is breathtaking. I loved that there were two wings to the upstairs of the house so if you were staying with another family, each could have their own private spaces. The hosts were responsive and friendly. More than accommodating for our stay. I’d definitely stay here in the future!

The views from the patio and deck are lovely! We had a perfect rainy day playing in the game room and since the hot tub is covered, we were even able to get outside! Michael and Jill are incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We hope to stay again!

The cabin was amazing and fully stocked with all essentials. It made vacation a whole lot easier, and to top it off the hosts we very active with reaching out to ensure everything was perfect. I would 100% recommend this place and will absolutely be returning!

WOW! This cabin is definitely worth the trip! Amazing views!! As soon as we pulled into the resort we saw a family of deer!
Plenty of room for the family to have fun together and yet have our own space when needed. The hot tub is on the bottom floor with the other on suite room with laundry room. Middle floor was the game room, theater room, bunk beds! We stayed on that level a lot! Very nice!! But also, the first floor the master is on another set of washer and dryer is on that floor, that was a plus for our family. This is the first cabin that the host actually provided everything you will need, they really planned it all out very well! WiFi is fast! It had a brand new build feel to it (not sure if it is) but everything just felt clean and good quality. The Ski Resort is minutes away.
We ordered Instacart for grocery delivery so we didn’t leave much. DoorDash doesn’t deliver to the cabin but groceries were a plus! Overall I would book again! Definitely recommend this host!

The place was very secluded, not exactly what we were expecting but loved every second. There’s plenty of sights to see up in the mountain we were on. With the seclusion, it did take a while to get from the house to literally anywhere. This was fine and all until we ran out of eggs one night and needed it for dinner. Overall, very satisfied with the layout and the cleanliness. Thanks for a great time!

The cabin and the view was beautiful! We felt right at home immediately. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the entire group. Instructions were very clear and the house was easy to access. We all had a fantastic time!

First time ever in Gatlinburg and thanks to this experience, we will definitely go back.

Beautiful home, the views were the best. Home is also in a gated community which I loved.
