Great space for family gatherings and adult groups. 2 wings of bedroom spaces a plus, great kitchen layout, indoor and outdoor dining spaces (with shade!) and a pool and hot tub / playset for g-kids and p-ball court. Close access to fun family outings, easy to get groceries and group take out dinners. This place is great !
Wow, beyond words. We were blessed to be among the first to stay at this beautiful home. It has everything - 100/10, recommend to all.

We were lucky to have wonderful weather, which meant we could enjoy the outdoor spaces, in this lovely place. We slept really well, it was quiet and the beds were comfy. We had pretty much everything that we needed for a great stay! Just a couple of things to note, that did not affect us -
I will say that if you use the place to full capacity, there were only 3 of us, you need to be aware that this is not a large house with multiple rooms. It has one, well-equipped, great room (kitchen, dining and seating area) and sitting area in the adjoining studio.
Bring an eye mask if sleeping in the master bedroom, as there are not window treatments in the adjoining en-suite and a spotlight from a neighbors house shines in all night.
Minor issues and overall a great stay!
It was a great spot for a large group. We are a college golf team, and didn’t need to do much of anything outside of the house. We loved the mini golf and basketball. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing after each round. And because of the casita I was able to keep both the men and women’s teams on the same location. 5-stars all around!
Absolutely luxury of a rental at Black Butte. Hosts have clearly thought of EVERYTHING we could possibly want for and more. The house was perfect for two families (parents upstairs, kids down), incredibly well set up, everything we needed to cook several meals... even an adorable coffee bar that was used daily! I almost hesitate writing this because I want to keep it as our secret! Great hosts, great location, comfy beds, gorgeous setting...all around 5 stars.

Megan’s place in Perris near Lake Mathews was incredible. So much to do in so little time. Spent a lot of time in the garage that had a ping pong table, weights, sauna, cold plunge, dart board and TV. Outside, we played pickleball, horseshoes, played on the playground equipment and threw a frisbie. Megan has all the play gear there (paddles, balls, darts, etc.). The indoor pool was a hit, since we were there when the weather spiked. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools and dishes you need. We used one of the two grills, had no issues with starting it and it had plenty of gas. Also outside, Megan has a large Jenga set that we played while sitting by the firepit. The outdoor lounge chairs were great too. Late into the night, I played Galaga & Pacman on the old-school video console. The entire place was very clean and we’d definitely go back 😊. Megan was super responsive, even during our stay.
Stayed here for a trip to Hilton Head and overall it was a great experience. The place was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and in a really convenient location close to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the host was responsive whenever we had questions. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay. Beds were clean, common areas were spacious, and it felt like a solid setup whether you’re going with friends or family.
Overall, really good stay—would definitely come back and recommend it to others visiting Hilton Head.
The home was beautiful. Unfortunately, not able to walk anywhere in immediate area, even for an after dinner walk.
There was an issue with plumbing and although the hosts tried for an easy fix, there may be underlying issue that was the most uncomfortable to deal with during our stay. Hopefully that is resolved in the near future for guests as it was a gorgeous place!
