Great space!
The house was great! We brought in our sales team and it was extremely convenient as everyone had their own bathroom connected to each bedroom. The house was clean, extremely well stocked (probably better than any other stay at an Airbnb) and was setup extremely well. Really appreciated the electric skillet as it allowed us to cook for our group easily. Plenty of smart tv's and the backyard was awesome, you can even walk down to the public lake behind the house. Hannah was a great host and checked in often to make sure everything was going well. Check out was extremely easy with easy to follow instructions. It was refreshing to stay somewhere that felt like the host genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay instead of just a transaction. We weren't required to clean half the house prior to check out like other Airbnbs either so while we took care of the place we didn't feel like we were the cleaning staff. Highly recommend a stay here.

We absolutely loved staying at this home! It was even bigger than the photos and had more than enough space for our large group, it honestly never felt crowded at all. The two additional casitas were such an amazing bonus and gave everyone plenty of room to spread out.
We all enjoyed the theater room, hot tubs, and saunas, and the koi pond was such a peaceful spot to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals, which made the stay even better.
The location was perfect, close to grocery stores and so many incredible hiking trails. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to stay here again. :)

What a great black butte home! The space worked great for our families with lots of space to relax and hang out both upstairs, downstairs and outside. Great location! Great hosts, very helpful and thought of all the special things for our kiddos to have a great time.

Wow! So many options to do at the house! Pool/hot tub (but weather too cool to enjoy), fire pit, putting green, foose ball, pool table, many lawn games, Pac-Man and golfing in the game room. Monopoly game that lasted All day! We cooked out, great grill. Great place to stay and enjoy!
Excellent communication from the host before and during our stay. The house was exactly as described and photoed. Perfect location for children with the park across the street.
My family and I had an awesome time celebrating my wife and I 30th anniversary and birthday. The home was beautifully decorated and designed for family gatherings. I would recommend large families or group gatherings to use this home you will not be disappointed. The outside area, game room, sauna, and other amenities made the stay even more enjoyable.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home! It was the perfect setup for 3 families, providing plenty of space to spread out and relax. The house was clean and beautifully maintained, but what really blew us away were the amenities.
From a well-stocked kitchen that made family meals a breeze to the game room, outdoor games and pickleball court, to the private pool/hot tub that kept the kids entertained for hours, the hosts have truly thought of everything.
The surroundings were picturesque and peaceful so we felt like we were getting away from the city.
The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire process seamless. We’ve already started planning our next visit. I highly recommended this retreat for any family looking for a fun and stress-free getaway!
Overall, a nice place with solid rooms, beds, bedding, a relaxed ambiance, and very good outdoor space/amenities. The neighborhood is quiet, private, residential, but (by local standards) fairly central to many areas. Co/hosts are very quick communicators. At the price point I would have expected slightly more from the property (better instructions, a bit tidier, all amenities in good order).

Amazing home base for our three families. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces and made great use of the space with different areas and adult/kids activities! The hosts were so friendly and responded quickly to our questions and we felt their genuine desire that we enjoyed our time and felt comfortable. Close access to bike trails which worked out great for the kids to use their wheels. Would happily stay here again!

I would NEVER recommend this owner or their properties. The owner relies upon AI management, shoddy housekeeping and maintenance, and an entitled attitude completely devoid of effective communication and leadership. This is a negligent host who prioritizes financial gain over guest safety.
—we became literally snowed in when the host failed to make arrangements for snow removal and treatment on the steep, winding driveway. We were forced to spend an extra 1.5 days at the property until we worked to find a company to get us out safely. Messages to the host were met with AI platitudes and deceptions.
—there is an disturbing infestation of stink bugs in all areas of the home; light fixtures are filled with their dead bodies.
—the in-ground swimming pool has NO safety fence or barrier of any kind
—upon return home, multiple members of our group were diagnosed with a skin infection (angry red pustules) directly resulting from the hot tub’s untreated, contaminated water.

We are genuinely shocked to read this review and it is not a direct reflection of the experience guests have at this property. You booked the property leading up to a snowstorm which was forecasted - which was also one week after a major ice storm that hit the entire east coast. We would have happily refunded you the reservation if you decided to cancel, but you did not. You chose to come.
There was up to a foot of snowfall the night before and day of your scheduled check out. You could have left ahead of time, but you did not. The property has steep and shaded roads to access the property. The temperatures were record lows in the single digits - lowest they've been in this area over the past few decades which prevented the snow/ice form melting.
You rudely demanded us to get the snow removed, which we were actively trying to do all weekend to ensure you could safely leave the property. We called dozens of snowplow companies and they were slammed and backed up due to the demand across the entire Asheville region.
We finally got a small company to come and plow and paid over $3,000 out of our pocket to expedite the snow removal and to put salt down on the entire road down from the property to the main road for your group to safely exit.
We allowed your group to stay at the property an extra night at no cost.
You were extremely rude and condescending to our entire staff throughout the issues with the weather - which are all outside of our control.
We have hosted hundreds of people at this property and never once have received a complaint about skin infections from the hot tubs. That is pure speculation and you also never mentioned this to us directly that the hot tubs were dirty - they're inspected before every guest checks in.
Aside from the weather related issues, your review would reflect quite differently and we are terribly sorry that you had a negative experience due to the weather.
This place was absolutely amazing. It was a week of 3 generations hanging together but having personal space. The hot tubs and saunas are amazing but the best time was spent in the theater room. I would absolutely love to do this again but for warmer temperatures to enjoy the wonderful outside kitchen
Truly beautiful your home. It made our time celebrating our Dad not only memorable, but incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The space created the perfect atmosphere for connection, laughter, and rest; and for that, we’re so grateful. We would absolutely recommend your home to others without hesitation.🥰
